Modern Painted Pots

Obvi these sweet little pots don't have to be for Valentine's Day alone, but I HAD to paint one pink--'tis the season. And one glitter. And I think they would be totes adorbs to give to your gal pals as a little V-day gift (alright, I'm done talking like that. Read on.) I would love to get one! They are super easy and fast to make, so buckle up for the tutorial.

For the pink one you will need pink paint, tape, and a brush!
Tape your lines, paint many coats (those clay pots drink that paint right up), and remove the tape. Voila!

For this gold one you will need your brush again, gold paint, and gold glitter. I was going for a dipped look here, so I didn't use tape, but just painted the bottom freehand. Lay that paint on thick. Then I sprinkled the glitter all over the wet paint, and shook off the excess. Voila!

They are so simple, but I think they're so pretty together.

Valentine's day is the perfect opportunity to add a little neon and glitter to your decor, right?

Which one do you like best?

    1. I got the pot at JoAnns, and the succulents at Home Depot! I bet they have the pots at Home Depot, too. I like the grey color. Make them! So easy!
